Forest Street Designs began publishing woodworking plans in 1971 after our first design, a stereo cabinet gained national attention in the publication Stereo Review. With so many request for plans for the unique design, drafted plans were provided for inquiring woodworkers. Our present Home Theater cabinet is a more current version of that award winning design. Hundreds of plans and patterns have evolved since then with dozens now featured at this site. Common shop power tools and hand tools including a table saw, band saw, scroll saw, router, drill press, assorted hand tools and, with some plans a lathe are all that are needed for production. Shop hints and tips are included. Most patterns are full size. Most wood items have been rendered in Autodesk's Autosketch. Most patterns can be copied, placed on wood milled to an indicated thickness and cut. Finishing ideas are included with many projects.
