The Tree Bench is a companion piece to the Garden Bench plan. There are few plans for tree benches and a manufactured tree seat can run as high as $4000.  Our plan will result in a rounded tree bench with eight segments.  It can surround a tree up to two feet in diameter.  And with modifications, could fit larger trees.  The seat sections are contoured for comfort.  Pine tree appliques decorate the face.  The bench can be made in two halves for easy removal for mowing or winter storage.  It can be made from common fence and patio redwood and/or cedar stock.
