This classic rocking horse is rich with floral and ribbon appointments in dark and light colored woods.  It  captures the spirit of the flower covered Carousel Horses from the turn of the century.  It can be used for Christmas displays, decorating a family room or nursery, as a prop for photography or for store window merchandising. No carving is needed.  Primary work can be done with a bandsaw, router and drill press.  The project is nearly all wood.  Recommended woods are listed in the plans.  Wrap colored ribbons around the pole for added trim.  The pole can be reinforced for riding.
