The wood lantern plan has many options for silhouette cutouts to install in the door in front of a candle. Sources are included for the brass hinges, latch, drawer knob, and ring handle. Options include adding a handy drawer, acrylic windows, a candle holder/pedestal, window grids and silhouette cut-outs. 21″ high x 10 1/2″ x 10 1/2″. Scale to be larger or smaller if desired. Great for decorating during the holidays or year round. Includes full size patterns with text and photos. Six different silhouette cutout patterns are included or design some of your own. Or add wood grids in each opening like shown above. When room lights are out, the silhouette cutouts have a nice appearance (see image). The roof can be painted with black hammertone paint for a metallic finish. Luminara brand LED candles are recommended for their realistic flame. Many come with remotes and can be set to turn on and off at selected hours. The drawer is handy for storing a remote and extra batteries. These candles come in a variety of colors . Patterns are full size. Real candles should not be used.
