We receive letters, videos and emails from customers with comments and pictures of completed plans. Here are a few:
Thanks for the prompt mailing. These are about the 10th set of plans I have built from Forest Street Designs. They are challenging, but I most like the full size templates and good description of location of parts. I also like the prompt mailing of plans.
The train has won the Arizona State Fair, and the Mohave County Fair. All the projects have won contests easily. Plus the hearts of my grandchildren. The fire truck is a permanent part of the local fire department and library. The biggest hit was the marble pin-ball machine and other marble projects.
I found out about Forest Street Designs by visiting the crafts museum in Carlsbad, CA.
The train won the Mohave County fair as “Best of Show” The pinball marble game ended up in a collection of pinball machines, and all vehicles were fun to build. Forrest Street Designs are the best, so am anxious to see some more come my way.

“Hi, have just finished my version of the Deusenberg, I bought the plans some years ago from woodcraft and have only just gotten around to it, I normally enjoy making intarsia and model ships, this was a lovely change and enjoyed the way you had set out the plans, they are very good, when I say my version, I mean that I changed it slightly to a convertible, please find enclose pics of the finished product, thought you might like to have a copy as a form of feedback, many thanks for making the plans available, someone must have spent an awful amount of time getting them right, hope you like the pics as much as I do”. Kind regards, Norman Long
“I would like to thank you for the many hours of enjoyment I have had making many of your projects. I have built all of your trains and fire trucks. The latest is your Wildflower Rocking Horse. I keep checking your web just to make sure I am not missing something. I have a lot of my projects in my office and they get a lot of attention. Again I want to thank you and keep those plans coming”. B. Cunningham
An added note; His interior additions are not included in the plan. They were his own designs. Very impressive. We have learned this woodworker may take on two more houses for other family members.
We have other examples of finished projects that are included with YouTube videos on the individual plan pages. There are many more examples of our plans on the internet. Especially examples of our Marble devices you can find searching in Google.
Our products built by our customers often win contests at state and county fairs, guilds and other contests. One of the most prestigious was Rockler Woodworking’s annual design contest. Although the various years of winners have been pulled down from their site, we captured a couple pages shown below. Our Carousel Horse and Wildflower Horse were both national contest winners. The list below shows several (removed links) of many of our plans winning different categories of contests from plans from Forest Street Designs.
Below are pages that Rockler closed that had photos of more contest winners made from our plans.
We are also please many of our products are on display at the celebrated Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad California. Below are a few snapshots of our displayed products. Their site is: www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com
