Except for hinges and brass pin accents, everything is wood including handles, brackets, latches and a lock. Even the realistic wrap-around leather-like cinch belts are wood. Pine, Walnut, Oak, Purple Heart and African Padauk (deep orange color) are used in trunk in the photos. A great decorator project and useful storage for blankets, clothing, and holiday decorations.
